Why Did You Want to Become a Dentist?

Dr. Thomas saw the same family dentist twice a year as he was growing up, and that long-term relationship really had an impact on him. There was always a great conversation to be had when he came in for six-month appointments, where he’d update the doctor on his life and new personal developments. Today, as a healthcare provider, he enjoys having the very same opportunity to provide important treatment in a comforting and enjoyable environment that fosters connections.

Where Did You Study Dentistry?

After attending the Illinois Institute of Technology, Dr. Thomas earned his dental doctorate at the University of Pittsburgh. He then completed an AEGD Residency at the Maricopa Institute of Health Services Hospital in Phoenix, AZ. Dr. Thomas loves collaborating with other dentists and specialists to provide the best care to his patients!

Outside of the Dental Office,
What Do You Like to Do?

Dr. Thomas and his wife recently married in June of 2020, and they’re happy to have relocated to Washington to start a family. Outside of working hours, he enjoys going on hikes and appreciating the Washington scenery – it’s a nice sight after living in the desert for so long! He’s also very passionate about the new innovations in dentistry and arguing with his wife about Netflix preferences.

Here’s a fun fact about Dr. Thomas: he had the only reported injury during the White Sox World Series celebrations in Chicago. He accidentally dislocated his left shoulder after high-fiving someone too hard!
